CRA just announce new Tax Benefit for those who are working from Home for their employer due to COVID. They can either use simplify method and claim $2 per day for maximum of 200 days they have worked from home during year 2020 (it doesn’t include any public holidays or annual holiday). Under the other method they will get Form T2200 S from their employer and claim portion of Utility Bill home internet and any other expense identified by the employer by ticking the box on Form T2200S.
